To EXCEL means to be the best that you can be, and that is exactly what we want to happen for you and your horse when you are at Excel Training.
Whatever you do with your horse, be it riding for pleasure, competing at a local level, or aiming for National or International recognition, we aim to bring out the best in you and your horse and to help you reach your full potential.
We have various livery packages available, from basic full livery, to full show livery, where your horse is schooled by fully quailified trainers on a regular basis. (Sorry, no DIY or grass liveries available).
Our facilities include an indoor arena with a seated undercover gallery for viewing, an outdoor arena, a round pen, tea and coffee facilities, toilets and car parking. All of these facilities are FREE for all our liveries. In addition we have ample off road riding.
Competitions are held on site on a regular basis (dressage, jumping, showing, western, saddle seat), as are regular training clinics. In addition site-based horse transport (local or national) is also available for you and your horse.
There is an onsite riding club (Highstead Riding Club), which offers group lessons and clinics during the winter (November to March) and regular shows (Easter, Summer and Christmas / New Year). Discounts are offered to all HRC members at all Riding Club, Riding Centre and EXCEL events.
The EXCEL competition team regularly competes across the nation, including at the Morgan Championships, the Saddlebred Championships, the Star of London Show, the WES Championships and the Royal London Show. Come see us in action in 2008.
We have excellent facilities available to all our livery clients including a newly resurfaced Indoor Arena with a viewing gallery and cafeteria, floodlit outside menage and round pen. Free use of all jumps and Western Trail equipment. 36 various sized stables including 2 foaling boxes, spacious secure tackroom and 24hr on-site supervision
